In an effort to engage both crypto enthusiasts and the general public, Binance will distribute over 5,000 pizzas across the globe during this six-day extravaganza. The goal is to educate and involve a wider audience in the world of cryptocurrency.
From May 17 to May 22, Binance will organize a series of events and activities in iconic locations such as Thailand, Paris, Dubai, Australia, Mexico, Brazil, and Argentina. These events will include in-person pizza parties, Binance-branded pizza vans, and special deliveries by notable figures in the crypto community using Binance delivery scooters. The aim is to create memorable experiences that allow people to celebrate the historic first Bitcoin purchase.
Rachel Conlan, Binance’s Chief Marketing Officer, stressed the significance of recognizing Bitcoin Pizza Day, particularly in a year when traders are highly focused on market activity. She explained, “Understanding the demands of our users and traders is crucial to us, so that’s why we want to bring the celebration right to their doorstep, considering how busy they are. Through initiatives like this, we not only celebrate the real-world utility of cryptocurrency, but also cater to the needs of our busy trading community.”
Bitcoin Pizza Day events will take place in 20 countries across five continents, ensuring that traders from Asia, Africa, South America, Europe, and Australia can participate, even from their desks. Participants in these events have the chance to win exclusive Binance merchandise by taking part in various activities and games such as Binance Topping Toss, Token Twister, and the Buy The Dip Limbo Bar. Prizes will be awarded based on the number of events completed.
