A Large Investor Buys More Ethereum Tokens, Redeems AAVE and UNI from Binance
In a recent development, a prominent investor, commonly referred to as a “whale,” has once again withdrawn a significant amount of AAVE and UNI tokens from the well-known cryptocurrency exchange, Binance. According to the popular on-chain analytics company Lookonchain, this whale has redeemed 18,566 AAVE tokens, valued at $2.02 million, and 173,705 UNI tokens, valued at $2 million.
Lookonchain disclosed this incident on its official X account, highlighting the investor’s continuous interest in Ethereum ecosystem tokens. Over the past three days alone, the whale has purchased a total of $28.75 million worth of these tokens from Binance. The tokens acquired in this spree include 4.04 million LDO tokens worth $9.3 million, 858,069 UNI tokens worth $8.7 million, 71,190 AAVE tokens worth $7.4 million, and 82,041 ENS tokens worth $2 million.
Additionally, Lookonchain emphasized that this whale’s previous purchases involved the expenditure of 26.67 million USDT, a stablecoin, to acquire 8,733 ETH.
