The funding round, backed by top-tier venture capital funds and well-known figures in the Web3 and gaming industries, has reportedly raised $5.5M to expand the Web3 gaming universe. Notable investors involved in the funding round include Mechanism Capital, Merti Circle, and Delphi Ventures. Other participants in the round were Foresight Ventures, LiquidX, Big Brain Holdings, Ghaf Capital, and Bitscale Capital. Additionally, several angel investors joined the funding round, such as James Kwon, Grail, DCF GOD, Dingaling, Luca Netz, and The Sandbox founder Sebastien Borget.
The funding round comes at a time when the platform is experiencing significant growth. PixelVerse’s quest-based browser and Telegram games have amassed over 15M registered users, with more than 5M active users. The platform has solidified its position as a pioneering force in the Web3 gaming sector.
Platform Aims to Transition 100M Web2 Gamers to Web3 Ecosystem
PixelVerse is rapidly gaining traction in the mainstream, with plans to be the first platform to transition 100M Web2 gamers to the Web3 ecosystem. The company is turning the idea of widespread adoption from a mere concept into a tangible reality. Kori Leon, the Chief Operating Officer of PixelVerse and a former member of the Binance Listing team, commented on this milestone.
