Today, Outlier Ventures, a leading global Web3 accelerator, and peaq, the layer-1 blockchain for DePIN and Machine RWAs, have announced the selection of six teams to participate in the DePIN Base Camp accelerator program. These teams will receive investments from Borderless Capital, a top venture capital firm in the DePIN space.
DePIN Base Camp is focused on boosting wireless network optimization and cybersecurity. The program has chosen six startups that are developing products in IoT hardware networks, decentralized computing and AI, wireless network optimization, cybersecurity, digital twin technology, and cloud gaming and Metaverse.
One of the selected startups, AYDO, is working on improving DePIN protocols by integrating ESP32 board IoT devices and sensors into various DePIN projects. This integration helps to reduce hardware costs for users and eliminates the need for manufacturing and distributing hardware for the DePIN projects. AYDO Dashboards also assist in the smooth operation of DePIN projects.
Kaisar Network, based in Vietnam, is introducing a GPU-as-a-service model that involves both GPU providers and users. Backed by SKAI, the company is dedicated to decentralized computing and AI, aiming to compile spare GPU resources at a low cost and incentivize contributors.
Roam Network, operating from Finland, aims to collect mobile network performance information using the Roam App, allowing users to share their network data for blockchain-based rewards. By incorporating user-labeled data measurements, Roam Network seeks to provide reliable and cost-efficient solutions to improve network services and customer satisfaction.
ROVR, originating from Hong Kong, is a decentralized digital twin platform for the planet, facilitating next-generation transportation and 3D AI engines. Equipped with high-tech 3D environmental data acquisition devices, ROVR acquires abundant and accurate environmental data to support the construction of high-definition 3D AI training.
TouchBrick, a cybersecurity startup from the US, focuses on providing a network of privacy agents to analyze and prevent new threats. Their privacy-oriented network enables ethical AI training with synthetic data.
YOM, another innovative startup, aims to launch the first cloud gaming DePIN on Solana, creating global low latency near-zero cost cloud gaming on any gadget, eliminating the need for specific game consoles like Xbox or PlayStation.
Overall, these innovative startups are expected to drive significant advancements in the DePIN sector, leveraging blockchain and AI technologies to create more secure, efficient, and interconnected systems.
