MultiversX, a revolutionary blockchain protocol that employs sharding technology to achieve horizontal scalability, has recently revealed an exciting new partnership. The platform has joined forces with eCornell University to launch a comprehensive and fully funded project aimed at providing blockchain-related education to underprivileged students. Prior to this collaboration, MultiversX has successfully teamed up with institutions such as ELTE Budapest and the University of Vienna.
The collaboration between MultiversX and eCornell University marks a significant step in MultiversX’s dedication to promoting education worldwide. In addition to organizing hackathons and introductory blockchain courses, the platform has established partnerships with leading universities and colleges globally. The partnership with eCornell is focused on introducing an innovative initiative to deliver technology education.
As part of this initiative, MultiversX will introduce a pilot program called the “Blockchain Essentials Certificate Program” this summer. The project aims to award certificates to one hundred disadvantaged students from various regions. MultiversX has committed to sponsoring the tuition fees for these students, emphasizing the importance of providing access to education in the field of blockchain technology.
This initiative not only allows students to explore the vast opportunities within the revolutionary sector but also provides them with hands-on experience by utilizing MultiversX’s technology stack. By completing the course, students will engage in practical challenges that enhance their learning and prepare them for professional careers.
CEO Beniamin Mincu emphasized that this initiative aims to enhance accessibility to technology and drive innovation in the blockchain industry. He highlighted that blockchain is an open book that anyone can explore, expressing optimism about the future collaboration between MultiversX and eCornell University. Mincu emphasized the platform’s commitment to simplifying builder onboarding to Web3, indicating that this partnership is just the beginning of their efforts to achieve this goal.
