Fhenix, a blockchain platform that uses Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE) L2 technology, has recently announced an upcoming event called “Encryption Day” that will take place in Brussels on the 9th of next month, parallel to EthCC. The event aims to provide practical methods for developers to use MPC, FHE, and ZK technologies.
The event is expected to bring together Ethereum developers who are interested in building solutions for on-chain privacy. Over 1,100 individuals have already registered for the event, making it an outstanding gathering for those who want to delve into cryptography and encryption.
The Encryption Day event will feature keynote speeches from several well-known experts, including Ed Felten, the co-founder of Arbitrum, and Justin Drake, an Ethereum Foundation-based ZK researcher. Representatives from popular entities such as Aztec, Gauntlet, ZKSync, Zero, RISC, StarkWare, Zama, and Fhenix will also appear at the event.
The event will last for 7 hours and will include diverse panels and talks on encryption-related topics. The Fhenix team will discuss confidential and secure artificial intelligence, while a panel discussion will occur between representatives from Fhenix, ZKSync, and Polygon, focusing on the differences between FHE and ZK technologies.
The Ethereum Foundation will address encrypted mempools, while the rest of the panels and keynotes will talk about subjects like Confidential DeFi and End-to-End Encrypted Blockchains. The event offers insights into cutting-edge innovations related to privacy technology and cryptography trends that describe the Ethereum ecosystem.
The Encryption Day event is specifically targeted towards developers, cryptography experts, and others who are interested in blockchain and privacy. Interested individuals can still register to attend the event. EthCC is the yearly conference of the Ethereum community, spanning from the 8th to the 11th of July in Brussels, and includes panel discussions, workshops, and conferences to impart knowledge concerning blockchain and the chief Ethereum innovations and use cases.
