In a recent development reported by PeckShieldAlert, a well-known cryptocurrency whale, known by the address “0x2154…9382,” has successfully recovered a significant portion of the funds that were lost in a phishing attack. The user initially suffered a loss of approximately $6.91 million worth of $LQIDETHFIV1 tokens after falling victim to a phishing scheme involving a fraudulent Permit signature just 24 hours ago.

A whale with the address 0x2154…9382, who was targeted by a phishing attack and lost around 1,807 $LQIDETHFIV1 tokens (equivalent to approximately $6.9 million), has now received 1,415 $LQIDETHFIV1 tokens from the address called “Fake_Phishing328653,” indicating a partial recovery of the stolen assets. Interestingly, it has been reported that the victim also sent 362 Ethereum (ETH) to the scammer’s address, suggesting a possible ransom payment to retrieve the stolen cryptocurrency.
