Orbit Chain Exploiter Moves 8671 $ETH to Tornado Cash
Arkham highlighted that the exploiter had looted nearly $100 million from Orbit Chain. Following the incident, the exploiter maintained a low profile, possibly to avoid detection. This period of silence lasted for about five months. However, the exploiter recently surprised everyone by transferring $32 million to Tornado Cash.
According to Arkham, the exploiter is currently in the process of depositing the stolen assets into Tornado Cash. The firm disclosed that the stolen assets included over $100 million in DAI and ETH. When the initial $100 million was taken, other assets like WBTC, USDC, DAI, USDT, and ETH were also part of the loot.
The Hacker Still Possesses More than $88M in $USDT, $DAI, and $ETH
The breach was attributed to security vulnerabilities related to private keys. The exploiter has now moved 8671 ETH coins to the crypto mixing platform. Currently, the exploiter still holds more than $66 million in ETH and over $20 million in USDT and DAI.
