RISC Zero and Worldcoin Collaborate to Enhance User Experience

This collaboration will utilize RISC Zero’s Universal Verifier and Steel projects to unlock verifiable and limitless compute power for the Superchain ecosystem. In a recent post, RISC Zero elaborated on its efforts to help World Chain in liberating blockspace. The platform utilizes proof aggregation to achieve this goal. RISC Zero’s Universal Steel and Verifier projects enable the platform to unlock limitless and verifiable compute power, which can be utilized to power the Superchain ecosystem. The platform expressed confidence in the success of this new endeavor.
Furthermore, RISC Zero explained the functionality of Steel in a separate blog post. It highlighted Steel as a significant advancement in the interaction between developers and EVM-based chains. Steel makes use of zero-knowledge proofs and the RISC Zero zkVM to enable developers to perform view calls and provably compute and read over Ethereum in a secure, cost-effective, and scalable manner.
This project bridges the gap between zero-knowledge technology and app development on Ethereum, making it more convenient for builders to leverage the capabilities of ZK for smart contracts. Steel, combined with the abilities of RISC Zero zkVM, allows developers to create more efficient, scalable, and secure apps on Ethereum layer 1 or other EVM-equivalent chains.
